Our Story Began Over 80 Years Ago
On a spring day in 1928, while using his family’s rowboat to transport commercial goods across beautiful Lake Lugano, Switzerland, Antonio Mantegazza became inspired to share the stories and legends of his home with others. He soon began transporting tourists (rather than lumber!) around the area and Globus was born.
